(Also known as "Jhandu Joker Teen Patti")
Jhandu is a fun Teen Patti variation where Jokers are decided based on random cards drawn after dealing. Jokers act as wild cards and can replace any card to make the best hand.
Deck: Standard 52-card deck (no physical jokers; jokers are chosen from the deck).
Players: 3 to 6 players.
Boot & Betting: Same as Classic Teen Patti – everyone posts a boot amount, and betting proceeds clockwise.
Objective: Make the best hand (normal Teen Patti hand rankings are used).
After dealing 3 cards to all players,
the dealer places one or more cards face-up in the center of the table.
The value of these cards becomes the JOKER for all players.
Example: If the dealer places 8♦ face-up, all 8s (8♥, 8♣, 8♠, 8♦) act as Jokers for every player.
Some variations use two or three Jhandu cards (e.g., dealer places Q♠ and 6♥ face-up, so both Qs and 6s are Jokers).
Players can use Jokers to substitute any missing card to make the strongest hand possible.
The classic Teen Patti hand rankings are used (highest to lowest):
Trail (Trio / Three of a Kind)
Pure Sequence (Straight Flush)
Sequence (Straight)
Color (Flush)
Pair
High Card
Because of the Jhandu Jokers, high-ranking hands (Trails & Pure Sequences) become much more frequent.
Same as Classic Teen Patti:
Blind or Seen Play (you can play without seeing or after seeing cards).
Side Show (between seen players).
Show (final stage when only 2 players remain).
Pot Limit can be set to avoid unlimited betting.
The player with the best hand after using Jokers wins the entire pot.
